CDH Investment Bank and members of other Continental Holdings Limited companies attended the 2024 bankers’ sports day on Saturday 27th April 2024 at Kamuzu Health Science Centre in Blantyre under the theme, “growing health and wealth”.
The CDH group staff members participated in various sporting events on the day ranging from golf (Blantyre Sports Club), cycling, football, netball, basketball, bawo, egg race, sack race, pool, 100m and races. Additionally, other staff members participated in a golf tournament that took place at Blantyre Sports Club on the same day.
During the event, CDH Investment Bank staff members had the opportunity to interact with bankers from other institutions. The CDHIB teams demonstrated remarkable teamwork and enthusiasm, and their basketball team won the championship for the third year in a row. Additionally, CDHIB’s Mr Menard Monjesi was recognized as the men’s egg race runner-up and similarly, Mrs Satakwawo Zuze was awarded second place in the ladies golf tournament.
The staff member’s participation supported the banks continued efforts to improve staff health and wellbeing by encouraging wellness and exercise to promote healthy lifestyles.
