CDH Investment Bank celebrates Father’s Day

CDH Investment Bank treated men to a Father’s Day photoshoot on Sunday 19th June 2022 as the world commemorated Father’s Day. CDH Investment Bank values the various father-roles its male staff members play in the lives of many and felt it good to treat its gentlemen. The Bank had a professional portrait photo of the male staff members taken both in Blantyre and Lilongwe. The pictures were gifted so staff may use them for their personal profiles or social media pages e.g., WhatsApp profile, LinkedIn, etc. The Bank also had portraits taken of them under a happy Father’s Day themed selfie board.

CDH Investment Bank attendance at 2022 bankers’ sports day

 

CDH Investment Bank and members of other Continental Holdings Group companies attended the 2022 bankers’ sports day on Saturday 28th May 2022 at KUHES Sports Complex. 

The CDH group staff members patronized various sporting events on the day ranging from golf (Blantyre Sports Club), cycling, football, netball, volleyball, basketball, chess, bawo, egg race, sack race, 100m races and tug of war. 

The event allowed all staff including Exco members to have time to interact with bankers from other institutions but most notably allowed Kwame Ahadzi our Chief Executive Officer to have a one-on-one session with Dr Wilson Banda, the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Malawi.

CDH Investment Bank donates K3.5m to Beit Cure International Hospital

CDH Investment Bank, which is celebrating 10 years of its existence, donated K3.5 million to Beit Cure International Hospital in Blantyre towards the promotion of free community health among children. The donation, presented on Wednesday during the celebration of 20 years of partnership between the Beit Trust and Cure Hospital, where there was also a handover ceremony of surgical equipment donated by the Beit Trust to Beit Cure.

CDH Investment Bank sponsored two teams to participate in the Archdiocese of Blantyre golf tournament that was held on Friday 29th April 2022 at Limbe Country Club. The Bank contributed to the cause to help raise funds for school fees for the Archdiocese to ensure the continued formation of the organization’s seminarians.

CDH Investment Bank contributes to Malawi Blood Transfusion Services blood bank drive

In its efforts to boost access to blood transfusions for hard-to-reach areas across the country, Malawi Blood Transfusion Services (MBTS) is on a drive to place blood bank fridges in district hospitals that have several other health centres surrounding it.

To meet its target, MBTS is engaging the private sector for funding contributions, which CDH Investment Bank has responded to by donating K2 million which will go towards the purchase of a blood bank fridge earmarked for Mangochi, whose outreach stations are Monkey Bay Health Centre and Mulibwanji Mission Hospital.
