CDH Investment Bank supports the 2023 national TEVET conference

CDH Investment Bank has invested K1million to the upcoming national TEVET Conference, that has been planned by the Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TEVETA) taking place from 20th – 21st April, 2023 at BICC, Umodzi Park in Lilongwe Malawi.

The conference brings together industry experts, academics and professionals from various fields to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the TEVET Sector under the theme "Promoting Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training for Enhanced Socio-Economic Development in Malawi".

CDH Investment Bank opens K16.9m school kitchen in collaboration with Mary’s Meals

CDH Investment Bank, in partnership with Mary’s Meals, has invested a K13.8 million school kitchen and feeding block in Mbinda, Blantyre. In addition, the bank has also sponsored K3.1million towards the schools feeding program that is managed by Mary’s Meals.

The kitchen was officially launched on Tuesday 13th June 2023 in a ribbon cutting ceremony held at Mbinda Junior Primary School in Blantyre. The event was graced by various stakeholders such as the Principal Education Officer, Zelita Zamula, Ministry of Education who was Guest of Honor at the event, Village Headman Mbinda, representatives and staff from Mary’s Meals Malawi, CDH Investment Bank, the school committee, teachers and students from the school and community members from the surrounding areas.

Warriors, Mystics shine in CDHIB basketball cup

Crazy Warriors and Mikoko Mystics have won the CDH Investment Bank Southern Zone Basketball League (SOZOBAL) end of season cup in the men and women’s divisions respectively. The end of season basketball cup hosted by SOZOBAL worth K5million was sponsored by CDH Investment Bank.  

The competition drew glamour as the teams as the teams put up their best to get better results. Warriors saw off Malawi University for Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) Wildcats 64-53 in the final at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHES) Sports Complex in Blantyre while Mystics did it with a 49-36 victory over Sparks. 

The cup glory was a relief to Warriors and Mystics as they finished as runners-up in the league.

CDH Investment Bank has donated K1million to the upcoming 57th APUA annual meetings that has been organized by the Electricity Generation Company (Malawi) Limited (EGENCO) taking place from 3rd – 8th June, 2023 at BICC, Umodzi Park in Lilongwe Malawi.

The conference brings together industry experts, financiers, equipment manufacturers, suppliers and professionals from various fields to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the energy sector.

CDH Investment Bank in partnership with UNC Project invests in K15m school block in Lilongwe

CDH Investment Bank, in partnership with UNC Project Malawi, has invested a K15 million school block at Nafutsa Primary School Dzama, Lilongwe.

The school block was officially opened on Wednesday 31st May 2023 by the guest of honor, Mrs Judith Chiwoko, the Primary Education Advisor. The event was also graced by representatives and staff from UNC Projects Malawi, CDH Investment Bank, the school committee, contractors, and students from the school and community members from the surrounding areas.
