CDH Investment Bank has embarked on several activities to mark celebrations for its 10th anniversary in the country. The Bank started as Continental Discount House Limited (CDH) operating in the financial services sector since August 1998 before it converted to an investment bank in April 2012. 

On 4th April 2022, CDH Investment Bank marked its 10th anniversary as an independent bank in Malawi. The leading investment bank was borne out of a conversion of Continental Discount House Limited (CDH) which had operation in Malawi since August 1998 before it converted into an investment bank in April 2012. On 5th August 2022, staff of CDH Investment Bank came together to mark the beginning of their celebrations in Blantyre and Lilongwe.

As part of the celebrations, earlier this month, the bank launched the activities which included staff engagement at the Head Office in Blantyre and Capital City Banking Centre in Lilongwe. 

The launch started with a photoshoot for the staff, dressed in branded shirts in the morning before the evening session which included cocktails, jazz performances and awards ceremony. 

During the launch the Bank reassured Malawians of its continued support towards providing banking innovations that help businesses grow and ultimately create value within and outside Malawi. 

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director for the bank, Kwame Ahadzi, praised staff for their hard work which has seen the bank grow to where it is and appreciated the customers who have partnered with the Bank to make a difference and create value in Malawi. 

Mr Ahadzi then disclosed that the Bank will facilitate various Corporate Social Initiatives (CSIs) across difference parts of the country as part of its activities to celebrate the anniversary with its stakeholders and one way of serving the communities.
