Kwame Ahadzi
Managing Director
Mr Kwame Ahadzi has over 30 years’ experience in banking and finance. His banking career began in 1991 with Ecobank Ghana Limited following his accountancy training with Coopers and Lybrand. He later joined Allied Bank of Uganda (a subsidiary of Banque Belgolaise of Belgium) as Financial Controller in 1995. Between 2003 to 2008, Kwame served as Managing Director of Bank of Africa in Uganda. He served as Managing Director of Bank of Africa in Kenya between 2009 and 2014. During that time, Kwame was also heading Bank of Africa’s Regional Office in Nairobi. Prior to joining CDH Investment Bank, Kwame was in private consulting providing accountancy, banking and finance services to clients across the African continent. He has also served on boards of various banks in Uganda, Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria.
Kwame obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from University of Ghana in 1984 and later Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from the same university in 1989. He became a Chartered Accountant in 1990
