Performance bonds

A performance bond is provided in support of a customer's obligation to fulfill a contractual commitment, normally required after a customer has been awarded a contract to perform. A performance bond ensures payment of a sum (not exceeding a stated maximum) of money in case the contractor fails to fully perform the contract.
