Presenting the cheque, CDHIB’s Chief Executive Officer, Misheck Esau said they felt obliged to contribute towards the campaign to ensure that Blantyre City returns to its former glory. “Blantyre used to be a clean city, but now it is no longer the same”.

On his part, Chalamanda thanked CDHIB for the gesture, which he said will go a long way to ensure that their dreams are fulfilled. He promised they will use every penny prudently and will account for it.
